Another Tax Filing Extension For Those Affected by Hurricanes Helene and Milton

For those who timely filed a 2023 tax extension, your extension has been extended again. For taxpayers whose address, or whose tax preparer’s address is in an affected county, now has until May 1, 2025 to file their 2023 tax return. We expect the IRS to add an additional extension for those affected by Hurricane Milton.

Keep in mind that an extension to file is different than an extension to pay.
