Beginning in 2024, you are no longer required to take RMDs from Roth 401(k) accounts. This was part of the SECURE 2.0 Act. Of course, you still have to take RMDs from Traditional 401(k)s.
On a related note, Employer matching is now allowed for Roth 401(k) accounts. Keep in mind, though, that these contributions are taxable income, and will raise your taxable wages.
